Michèle Boisvert is Executive Vice-President, Business Outreach. She oversees all of CDPQ’s entrepreneurial initiatives and ensures that CDPQ is present in all regions of Québec, in support of the investment teams. She sits on the Executive Committee.
Having joined CDPQ in 2012, she held the position of Executive Vice-President, Public Affairs and Strategic Communications until 2015. An economist by training, she pursued a career in journalism for more than 25 years. She first worked at Radio-Canada before joining La Presse in 2002, where she covered economic news as a reporter, then as an editorialist and as a columnist. In 2007, she was named director of La Presse Affaires, the business section. She also delivered a daily economic segment on Radio-Canada radio for seven years. In addition to her role at CDPQ, Ms. Boisvert is an adjunct professor at HEC Montréal.
Michèle Boisvert is President of the Fondation de la Place des Arts. She is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Université de Montréal, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), the Fondation de l’Entrepreneurship, and of the Lab-École et OSEntreprendre organizations.
